Welcome to ”Letting Them Lead” where myself (a preschool speech language pathologist) and my Mom, Laurie - a general education transitional kindergarten teacher with a background in early childhood education, are talking all about life in the early education world. Actually we are going deep into the concepts that foster our students’ connection to learning while honoring their individual development and letting them lead. We are so excited to have you here. If you have any questions for us or topic suggestions for future episodes, please feel free to leave us a comment!

Here is part 2 of my talk with Ally from @allisonthehuman. We are picking up right where we left off in episode 40. Ally has such an amazing voice and perspective as an actually autistic SLP. She is sharing about the dichotomy of being autistic and a professional as well as the stereotypes that come along in the two worlds that exist for her and many others. We have so much more to learn from Ally and other neurodivergent individuals. I cannot wait to dive into part two very soon!
